Baby Lips Electro, an uncommonly rare find in the big city of San Francisco, has been my current shopping obsession for the past three weeks. As If it wasn’t hard enough already looking for a limited edition item, this lip moisturizer can be sold in almost every Walgreens or CVS, which for the most part, at least 50% of the World’s population of Walgreens resides in San Francisco.
So as I moseyed over to the Walgreens near the Westfield Mall off of Market and Powell, I encountered something beautiful: amid the Peach Kisses and Grape Vines and other regular Baby Lips products was a lone Minty Sheer just waiting to be snagged and curing, at least somewhat, my vice for beauty products.
Minty Shear, in all of its green glory, was not the original color I have been looking for. I was looking for a more tinted lip moisturizer, like Oh! Orange! or Strike a Rose. But it fascinated me solely by it’s chic black tube and those neon green highlights (aaaand because it was the only one there, I mean come on…) I just couldn’t resist.
It was as if it was only yesterday that I applied it for the first time…
Oh wait. It was.
I am not sure of the long-lasting effects this item has, but apparently they’re supposed to make your lips feel as soft as a baby’s bottom. Although that’s kind of weird. Maybe it’s as soft as a baby’s lips? That’s weird too.
Regardless, I hope to continue to find more products, and finding this baby by pure chance and a little obsessing, it has only fueled my hope.
Mission Baby Lips Electro continues.
